Universal Aviation Spain is relocating its headquarters to MAD (Barajas, Madrid, Spain). The decision to relocate was made based on the fact that TOJ (Torrejón, Madrid, Spain), where the company is headquartered, closed to GA traffic on Feb 1. The company says that customers should experience no disruption of service. Universal Aviation Spain will be located in the remodeled general aviation terminal (GAT) building at MAD (formerly the State Pavilion) and is expected to open by Mar 2013. When renovation is complete, the GAT will have its own parking and VIP facilities, including lounges and meeting rooms.
