Avionics

Jeppesen has compiled a new high-resolution terrain database for the Aspen Avionics Evolution line of flight displays. Outside the continental US, best resolution is improved from 30 arc seconds to 9 arc seconds, which the Evolution synthetic vision system (SVS) requires. Resolution in the continental US remains 3 arc seconds. The upgrade is available with an active Jepp subscription for Aspen data. It is suitable for single and multiple-display installations with SVS and for the MFD of a multidisplay installation without SVS.
