Millie Becker has joined FirstFlight—a charter, management, and aviation services company based at ELM (Elmira NY)—as chief development officer. She will be based at TEB (Teterboro NJ), where she was serving until recently as vp business development for First Aviation Services.
Patrick Mouley has joined Bell as managing director for commercial business for Europe and Russia. He served most recently with Eurocopter, where he was vp marketing and sales for Southeast Asia.
Larry Flynn took over as president of Gulfstream Aerospace on Sep 1. He joined the company as VP of aircraft services in 1995 after more than 25 years in the field. Since then, he has served as vp of General Dynamics, Gulfstream's parent company, president of Gulfstream product support, and senior vp marketing and sales.
Before signing on with Gulfstream, Flynn was vp location-based services for Stevens Aviation, a regional vp for Signature, and exec vp and general mgr for AMR Combs. In addition to his post at Gulfstream, Flynn serves on NBAA's Associate Member Advisory Council.
At the same time, Jason Aiken is stepping in as Gulfstream's CFO. Most recently he was controller of General Dynamics. He joined that company in 2002 as director of consolidation accounting.
Steven Law has been promoted to maintenance supervisor at Comlux Aviation Services at IND (Intl, Indianapolis IN) after 17 years with
the jet center.
Ken Kaplan will head the new Aviation Outreach Initiative at Vaughn College, Flushing NY. He is tasked with creating a flight training program that may include hybrid distance-learning opportunities. He was most recently vp sales and marketing for King Schools.
Chris Buchholz has been appointed CEO of Hongkong Jet, a leading operator of bizjets in the Asia Pacific region, including mainland China. He was previously CEO of Metrojet and formerly served as pres Asia Pacific for Universal Weather & Aviation.
Meanwhile, Mark Thibault has joined Hongkong Jet as COO. He has served as regional dir of engineering product support for Gulfstream and as COO for Metrojet in Hong Kong.
Éric Martel has been appointed president of Bombardier Customer Services & Specialized and Amphibious Aircraft, replacing the late James Hoblyn, who died unexpectedly in July. Martel, who joined the company in 2002 as vp ops North America for Bombardier Transportation, became senior vp commercial aircraft in Dec 2010.
