Aero Charter, an FBO, support and charter operation at SUS (Spirit of St Louis MO), is on the point of opening its new 30,000 sq ft hangar. The $4-million facility includes 4200 sq ft of shop area and 105,000 sq ft of apron. Construction began last December.

FBO TexasJet at FTW (Meacham, Fort Worth TX) has signed up with Paragon Aviation Group. TexasJet Pres Reed Pigman says that joining Paragon will give his company a competitive advantage in its head-to-head rivalry with a large FBO chain.
Enterprise Jet Center, the newest FBO at HOU (Hobby, Houston TX) has also joined Paragon's network. Enterprise Pres Bobby Courtney says the ability to promote other Paragon members to his customers "is an additional value to them, but for us it's a peace of mind."
Asia's largest bizjet facility is open for business. Aviation Concepts, a jet management, charter and maintenance company based in Guam, has just opened its newly renovated complex at SFS (Olangapo, Philippines), part of the Subic Bay Freeport Zone. Aviation Concepts bought the 100,000 sq ft of hangar, shop and office space some time ago and has recently completed renovations.
Shell has announced the availability of an app that brings its AeroClass customer loyalty program to Apple and Android smartphones. Pilots belonging to the program earn at least 1 point per gallon of fuel purchased. Points can be redeemed for MasterCard gift cards at a rate of $10 per 1000 points. The new app helps pilots track points, view transactions, learn about promotions and redeem points. Shell reports that pilots have been joining the year-old program at a rate of 50 per week. Thus far, about 200 FBOs have signed on.
