Contrary to an item that appeared in February’s FBO News, FBO Plus is not the parent company of Eastern Aviation Fuels. Houston TX-based FBO Plus is the owner and publisher of FBO Manager, a Windows-based aviation software package, while Eastern Aviation Fuels is the exclusive distributor of branded aviation fuels for Shell Oil Products US. The 2 companies have joined forces to provide more than 300 locations with FBO Manager.

Last month’s feature “FBO chains, networks and affiliations” (Pro Pilot, Mar 2010, pp 92–98) contained a factual error regarding Odyssey Aviation and its ownership. In fact, Ken Allison is president of the 7 US Odyssey locations, while Steven Kelly is president of the 3 Odyssey Aviation Bahamas locations. Also, the lower photograph on p 94 was an archived image received from Million Air before its former NAS (Nassau, Bahamas) facility was rebranded as Odyssey Aviation Bahamas more than 2 years ago. Odyssey Aviation Bahamas is the owner and proprietor of this facility, and the caption failed to convey this.
