Million Air Medford has acquired rival Jet Center Medford at MFR (Medford OR), which had been locally owned and operated since 1982. Million Air Medford Pres Joe Keith says the deal will give his company control over 90% of the total fuel volume flowing at MFR. Keith says the next phase in the plan is to rebuild the newly-obtained facility "from the ground up," while taking advantage of the additional ramp space.

Tunica Air Group will provide maintenance services at Wilson Air Center's MEM (Memphis TN) FBO facility. Under its agreement with Wilson, Tunica will provide on-call maintenance support from a dedicated 16,000 sq ft hangar within the Wilson complex. Tunica's main headquarters, however, is a 20,000 sq ft hangar facility at UTA (Tunica MS). A group of 6 FedEx mechanics founded Tunica Air Group in 2006.

Landmark Aviation has cut the ribbon on a new 5000 sq ft FBO facility at AVL (Ashville NC), celebrating completion of the $4.6-million project. The new FBO includes a 23,000 sq ft hangar, conference room, pilot's lounge and flight planning area. The addition brings Landmark's network to 41 FBOs, with locations in the US, Canada and western Europe. Landmark's competition at AVL is Odyssey Aviation, one of 7 former Million Air facilities owned by Ken Allison, who joined the Million Air network in 1992. Evidently, the relationship soured, as Allison and Million Air Interlink filed suit against each other earlier this year. The lawsuits were reportedly settled. Allison's agreement with Million Air ended Jan 1.

AirQuest Aviation is the latest FBO to join the nationwide Avfuel-branded family of dealers. The BTP (Butler PA)-based FBO will now offer Avfuel's pilot refueling incentive program and below-retail rates on jet fuel with the Avfuel Contract Fuel card. Founded in 2004, AirQuest Aviation has built a new 20,000 sq ft hangar, scheduled to open this spring.

First Aviation Services TEB (Teterboro NJ) has joined the roster of FBOs that accept the Air Routing Card, a customer loyalty program from Houston TX-based Air Routing Intl. The announcement is the most recent in a series of changes at First, which reports new ownership/management and completion of a $63-million FBO facility. The company now has its own onsite fuel farm, and 24-hr maintenance operations in a 40,000 sq ft hangar facility.

Ascent Aviation, Phillips 66 Aviation's largest aviation fuels marketer, has extended its marketing agreement to represent the Phillips 66 Aviation brand in 27 states. Ascent has represented Phillips since 1994-its business now encompasses more than 200 Phillips 66 branded FBOs across the US.
