The Nordam Group has named Tory Baker VP & CFO, with responsibility for all financial operations including real estate. Baker is a 10-year veteran at Nordam.

Northern Jet Management, based at GRR (Grand Rapids MI) has hired 3 new pilots-Robert McConkey, Daniel Kelsey and Donald Jaeger. McConkey previously flew for Central Air Southwest, Kelsey for Air Engineering, and Jaeger for Vanguard Airlines. Northern Jet Management specializes in aircraft and flight department management, fractional ownership and executive charter.

Jet Works Air Center at DTO (Denton TX) has appointed Rick Purcella as dir of avionics. He comes from Rockwell Collins, where he was avionics sales mgr and senior avionics systems instructor.

GAMA has named Paul Feldman VP of government affairs. He was previously with APCO Worldwide, an international communications consultancy. Before his association with APCO Feldman held various senior positions in FAA. He is expected to play a key role in GAMA's efforts to preserve FAA funding through fuel taxes and forestall the implementation of user fees.

Lufthansa Technik AERO Alzey has named Mark Johnson CEO. He was formerly commercial mgr of Lufthansa hub management based in Frankfurt. Lufthansa Technik AERO Alzey is based near Frankfurt and maintains engines for regional airliners.

Universal Weather and Aviation has named Bobby Butler VP & chief compliance officer. He was formerly senior compliance advisor for ConocoPhillips and senior compliance mgr for Baker Hughes.

FirstFlight, an ELM (Elmira NY)-based charter, management and aviation services company, has named Richard Hodkinson president of its West Coast Division based at VNY (Van Nuys CA). Hodkinson is a 14,000-hr corporate pilot who founded Elite Aviation at VNY in 1994 and operated it until 2006.

Gulfstream Aerospace has named Robert Cowart director of supersonic technology development. He has been with Gulfstream for 18 years and was previously project engineer for the company's supersonic technology program.

Hawker Beechcraft Corp has named Ronald King VP & general manager of its Little Rock AR Hawker completions center. King was previously plant mgr at Eaton Heavy Duty Truck in Shenandoah IA, and had earlier worked at Honeywell Aerospace Lighting and Electronics in Urbana OH.

Universal Avionics has named Ray Miller VP & general manager of the company's instrument division in Duluth GA. He has been with Universal for 11 years.

El Aero Aviation, with locations at EKO (Elko NV) and 2Q5 (Carson City NV) has named Ginna Reyes president, succeeding Kathy Gilbert, who has retired. Reyes was previously general mgr of Western Flight at CRQ (Carlsbad CA).
